Aunty Terry receives support from Robina Agri Partners
Teresita Sajonia or better known as Aunty Terry never imagined her life could hug the limelight of a movie celebrity.
Aunty Terry is the inspiration behind Ilo ilo, a film that recently won the Camera d’Or in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year and Singapore’s official entry to the Oscars 2014.
Aunty Terry worked for the Chen family in Singapore for eight years where she took care of her employers’ three children – Anthony, Justin and Christopher in the early 1990s. The film’s director, Anthony, is one of the boys that Aunty Terry took care of.
Universal Robina Corporation’s (URC) Robina Agri Partners (RAP) stays true to its vision of being the Kabalikat sa Pag-unlad by providing Aunty Terry a livelihood assistance which will help her with her farm in San Miguel, Iloilo which includes feeds, technical and veterinary assistance among others.

RAP turned over the farm assistance to Aunty Terry in her farm in San Miguel, Iloilo on November 18.
Last August, Aunty Terry also received a livelihood showcase from Blend 45 and URC worth P50,000. She also returned to Singapore to reunite with the Chen family and to participate in the premiere night of Iloilo in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands Theater with the pact 1,600 audience which included the President of Singapore, H.E. Tony Kang and his wife. Her trip to Singapore has been made possible by Cebu Pacific, the only airline that flies direct from Iloilo to Singapore and by Resorts World Manila.
Iloilo the movie will have a premiere in Iloilo City with Anthony Chen, filiipina actress Angeli Bayani, Singaporean child actor Koh Jia Ler and Aunty Terry on December 1. The film will also have another premiere in Manila at the Newport Theater in Resorts World Manila on December 2 before public showing in Philippine theaters on December 4.
