In Iloilo City, the “healthy living” concept has caught up as well. We have seen the opening of restaurants that serve natural and organic food, much to the delight of everyone.

One of them is Live by Healthy Kitchen, which was founded because of its owner’s love for food and health.

“I  want to contribute positively to our society so what I can do, in my own little way, is to start educating or introducing different health food that not only tastes good but could also contribute to one's overall health and wellness,” said Myka Perlas, owner of Live by Healthy Kitchen.

“I enjoy and take pleasure and delight in every customer that leaves our health store/restaurant with a smile. It is where I get my motivation and inspiration from,” Myka added.

Live by Healthy Kitchen started in 2013 by offering Vietnamese Spring Rolls. “We have a lot of best sellers but I would say that our Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls are the reason for our existence. It was our first product back in 2013,” Myka said.

Healthy Meal Plans

Then, they offered Calorie Counted Meal Plans that are delivered within Iloilo City or picked up from their branches. “Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are provided per day. We change menu every week for variety. People can also customize their meals depending on their preference,” Myka said.

Their healthy meal plan rates as of December 2016 are as follows:
1000cal/day - P360
1200cal/day - P400
1500cal/day - P460
1800cal/day - P520
Booking is three days before the meal plan starts.

They also provide free consultation as to how many calories you have to take daily, depending on the purpose of your meal plan; to lose weight, gain weight or target a health condition. Those interested on their healthy meal plans can contact them through Facebook: Live by Healthy Kitchen
