Seda Atria kicks off the holiday season with ‘Lin-ay sang Paskua’ and more

Seda Atria has kicked off the holiday season with activities that aim to spread love and cheer; a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a partnership with Smile Train and Misto’s many exciting promotions for the whole month of December.

LIN-AY SANG PASKUA
Hotel Manager Joseph Del Rosario led Seda Atria in launching their Christmas tree with the theme “Lin-ay sang Paskua” on the 15th of November.

“Lin-ay sang Paskua” reminds us of the hardworking women of Iloilo province who are instrumental in obtaining the graces and blessings that we have received throughout the year. She is the pride that we feel for Iloilo. She is the gratitude that we all want to convey. "Lin-ay" represents our "Paskua" to everyone who feels that pride and appreciation of being an Ilonggo.

The tastefully adorned Christmas tree is a pop of brightness that greets guests when they arrive at Seda Atria. Look closely and notice that the Christmas tree exudes femininity. There’s the magical purple lighting seen at night that conveys a combination of a woman’s calm (blue) and energy (red), in addition to vintage hair combs, and glittery balls, baubles, stars and more.

SMILE TRAIN
This is also a season of sharing joy, so the entire Seda Group partnered with Smile Train, an international children’s charity that provides free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children in more than 80 developing countries. Kimmy Flaviano, country manager of Smile Train graced the event and happily shared with guests their advocacy.

Launched together with “Lin-ay sang Paskua”, they have provided a separate Christmas tree where guests can buy three different ornaments such as a Snowflake at P100, a Bear at P200 and a Smile at P300. All the proceeds will go to Smile Train.

The project is also in line with the Group’s 5th anniversary this December 2017.

The special guests were Billy Tan, Group Director of Human Resources of Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts Corporation; Genny Puno, Group Communications Manager of Seda Hotels; Mayor Joe Espinosa III of Iloilo; and Atty. Helen Catalbas, Department of Tourism 6 Regional Director.

The entertainment was provided by the Kinaadman Chorale of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University and the acoustic duo Mig and Andy.
