With Boracay Island now back to its idyllic self, she made plans to visit this paradise again in July after more than a decade of being away.

When you are looking forward to a vacation on an island, it’s normal to imagine the fun things to do there. She did that, too. Swimming in the clear blue water, lounging on the powdery white sand beach, watching the sunrise or the sunset while saying affirmations, trying out their spa, and of course, taking photos to share with friends on social media.
But, what will you do when things don’t go as planned? Trust the process. It’s faith in the unseen future and that the Divine Hand knows what It is doing.
It was one week before the May 13 elections and she did not anticipate the nightly caucus at the plaza across her place as well as the daily sounds of election campaign jingles begging to be heard. It was like a rush-hour before the big day. Her head close to exploding, she tried meditation and deep breathing … didn’t work. She had to get away that same day.
With energy and wallet spent after a trip, she had no other recourse but to say goodbye to Plan Boracay and use the Megaworld Club Access card to book a room in Richmonde Hotel Iloilo instead.

She made use of that voucher, too. That night, The Granary highlighted delicious assorted kebabs and seafood, straightforward dishes that her tummy prefers. She was also grateful to the chef who prepared Laksa for her group.
Her stay - room, breakfast, and dinner - cost more than the card's value when it was initially offered in November 2018.
Did she regret shelving her Boracay trip in July? No, really. Ideally, it is best to trust the process when plans don’t work out, embrace the present rather than resist it. If things don’t go well, move on!
But hey, it went well for her. The Megaworld Club Access card and the beautiful Richmonde Hotel Iloilo saved her sanity.
