Foodpanda: download the food that you love

Access to food that we love has become easier with the popularity of food delivery companies. One of them is foodpanda which operates in over 40 countries including the Philippines where they have more than 1,000 vendor partners.

The foodpanda app may be downloaded from Google Play or the app store. Once logged into the app, you will be asked to provide a location and from there, the app will show the varied restaurants nearby and their menu. You may also choose a location. The restaurants' closing times are also shown.

After selecting an order, foodpanda helps process the orders, pick them up and deliver them to your location.

I am a member of this Facebook community called Kaon Ta Iloilo, and would often see tempting photos of dishes from restaurants that I have not heard of before. Or if I did, their location is out of my usual way. The reason why I haven't tried them yet.

After checking the foodpanda app, I was pleased with the many options available.

Now, even having breakfast, lunch, and dinner and getting them from varied restaurants in a day through one app is possible without leaving one's house!

The app has helped businesses, too.

"Before when there was no delivery app, we could not reach customers outside of Iloilo City. Now, our customers from Pavia can avail of Love and Kisses," said Happy Abenir, owner of Love and Kisses, a homegrown brand famous for its pizza, burger and other yummy hot dishes.
